Elections are Coming!

Well it is election season at London Western Toastmasters. It looks as though it will be an exciting night of election speeches and votes. I am personally looking forward to giving my speech for the position of VP of Public Relations. I have been currently with the outgoing VP of Public Relations Mr Mike Lozon, trying to learn little aspects of the job and working with the website and Facebook group.

I believe all the candidates are well suited for all their positions and should shape up to be a great competitive night. I am encouraging everyone to stretch themselves a little to run for a position. I believe it could be the start of many great things for the person running or elected for any of the positions.

London Western Toastmaster 30th Anniversary

Recently London Western Toastmaster’s celebrated their 30th Anniversary. The Anniversary was attended by local Toastmaster Governors and and London’s Mayor Anne Marie DeCicco-Best and was held at the Bellamere Winery & Event Centre. The most interesting part of the night for myself was learning how the group started, and how it helped people achieve personal and career motivated goals.

I personally cannot wait for the next milestone and to be part of it.
