Starting the Journey as a Toastmasters Club President

Last night our current club president gave his final speech as our club president which signals the start of my term as president. At the end of the meeting, I was given about 30 tasks that I must do in the next week or two as club president. Can you say overwhelming? The great thing about our club is that there are a good number of past presidents that are willing to step up and help you. My intentions are to blog my experience for the next year as I progress through the role of club president. I am certain there will be ups and downs in my journey, but that should make it more exciting. I will share what I have learned both positive and negative. If a negative lesson; I hope that I will have a positive spin that I can give it.
Wednesday is our first officer training session for our new roles. I will most likely blog in the next day or two after that.
